Role Summary:
The Technical Cost Analyst is responsible for accumulation, examination, and manipulation of product and components cost data for comparisons, projections and decision making process. Will also support should cost analysis and modelling for offshore components

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Break down product cost summary into its constituents and study and report on each factor
  • To compare costs (as of standard with actual or for a given period with another) for the purpose of disclosing and reporting on conditions subject to improvement
  • Build business case for decision making, including materials, manufacturing and logistics costs in different scenarios
  • TCO analysis on landed cost
  • Support cost-out teams on PCO consolidation
  • Establish the processes for product costing
  • Reporting
  • Support tender process
  • Change management and building a cost/profit-conscious culture
  • Building cost management into the Product Lifecycle Management processes
  • Support products Should Cost analysis and modelling


    • Engineering background or Business School with a Finance degree
    • Strong experience in Engineering, Operations and manufacturing
    • EU Work Permit

    Non-national candidates are responsible to know the minimum documentation requirements to be able to be contracted in country: NIE- Social Security Affiliation Number in Spain (NAF) and Bank Account in Spain. They must be in possession of them at the time of start hiring. GE will not sponsor this requirement.

    • Ability to manage uncertainty and resist to stakeholder pressure
    • Demonstrated strong communication skills and autonomy
    • Good negotiation skills and arbitration abilities
    • Ability to challenge status quo and implement effective changes to improve controlling performance
    • Experience of leading/working within cross-functional teams
    • Spanish - Fluent
    • English – Fluent or Professional
    • French - optional
    • Microsoft Office Pack
    • Good knowledge on SAP
