Role Summary: Digital Thread is a one of GE's newest initiatives with the idea of developing horizontal solutions across GE that will lead our transformation. You will be responsible for owning the entire planning & forecasting process related to one of Digital Thread’s suite of products, build product ROI models, & lead ongoing reviews with product leaders to accelerate build & deployment of solutions. The role will also have certain core FP&A responsibilities with good exposure to product leaders & CIOs.
This role is more suitable for an FMP or CAS grad with commercial/product focus, good speed of execution, and ability to deal with ambiguity. In addition, the analyst will play key role in defining and building financial metrics that are critical to drive strategic decisions and business growth.
In this role you will:
Support quarterly estimate/closing process and blueprint cycles through interfacing with various finance leads and operational owners
Drive simplification and developing standard reporting pack that can be utilized by extended finance team
Work with FP&A leader to define/design key metrics/reports and build sustainable process to refresh on regular basis
Roll-up digital thread productivity across the business
Provide support for ad hoc projects and/or customized financial analysis; support specific requests from FP&A director & business CFO
Minimum 2 years of relevant financial planning and analysis experience

Financial Management Program (FMP) grad or Corporate Audit Staff (CAS) grad
Strong communication skills/ability to facilitate discussions with leaders effectively
Strong analytical skills and attention to details
Ability to manage multiple requests and deliverables simultaneously in a fast-paced environment
Ability to “Think on your Feet”
Proficient use of financial systems and analysis tools (e.g. Hyperion)
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities
Ability to analyze complex issues, develop appropriate action plans and delivers the results timely
