Role Summary:
An Electrical Engineer learns the practical application of engineering principals, achieves expertise in Electrical Engineering, and investigates new techniques as part of a team. The Electrical Engineer is responsible for designing electrical product/subsystem release solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:
Duties include (but are not limited to):
• Designing at least one of the following electrical components and interconnects: digital, FPGA, Analog, low-level RF
• Leading electrical test system development for new product introductions, including concept, architecture (Sr. Electrical Engineer or LP-Band applicable), documentation, design, prototype, test, supplier interfaces, manufacturing introduction and service support
• Identifying and developing new opportunities to leverage standardization objectives and Common Technology initiatives in the test system development
• Responsible for reliability, performance and on-time delivery

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. BS in Electrical Engineering or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) or associated degree & 5 years’ experience in development of automated test systems.
2. 5 years engineering experience in a related field
3. Demonstrated experience in any of the following: Analog system design, digital system design, control system design, power distribution and control design
4. Working knowledge of Mechanical and Thermal aspects of sub-system design and packaging
5. Must be legally authorized to work in the United States full-time
6. Must be willing to work in our [city, state] facility full-time
7. Must be willing to submit to a drug test, and background check – to include verification of previous employment, criminal history and educational background
8. Must be 18 years of age or older

Desired Characteristics:
1. MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
2. Demonstrated technical leadership capability in integration activities
3. Self-starter, energizing, results oriented, and able to multi-task
4. Excellent teamwork, coordination and communication skills
5. Ability to meet aggressive reliability, performance, cost, serviceability, and delivery targets
6. Effective oral and written communication skills
7. Experience leading Global projects
8. Working experience with PWA/PWB and subsystem design techniques for signal integrity and simulation tool experience
9. Knowledge of UL/ETL/IEC standards and how they apply to designs
10. Working knowledge of GEHC tools and processes such as Cadence Schematic Capture and PWB design tools.
