Ce programme est conçu pour accélérer le développement professionnel des participants par le biais d'une formation technique intensive et de diverses affectations correspondant aux priorités de l'entreprise.

The GE Energy Connections "Edison Engineering Development Programme" (EEDP) is a unique scheme for people with passion for technology, dedication to technical excellence and feel a connection to GE's core values.
The program is designed to accelerate your professional development through technical and leadership training, while working on a variety of important projects with responsibility for business-critical priorities.

• Programme de 24 mois, avec quatre rotations de 6 mois au sein de GE Energy Connections
• Ce programme se compose de projets axés sur la technologie et reflétant l’activité et les priorités de GE ; il est assorti d’objectifs définis, de bilans et de livrables
• Les responsabilités du/de la participant(e) au programme sont susceptibles de comprendre : les processus techniques Global Energy Connections, la gestion du programme, le développement technologique, la conception de produits, la fabrication, la réalisation de projets, la maintenance de la flotte, le support technique aux offres
• Capacité à résoudre des problèmes techniques, acquise grâce à une formation technique poussée, la rédaction de rapports officiels et des présentations devant la haute direction
• Compétences management acquises dans le cadre des cours Corporate Leadership

Edison is a one of a kind programme combining continued study with experience of the full engineering lifecycle. Participants are exposed to all areas of a world leading global organisation and have the opportunity to see first-hand how ideas come to life. Edisons benefit from GE’s global breadth by working alongside other Edisons and project teams across the world. Edisons have the opportunity to travel to various training courses worldwide, including a Global Conference in Florida. The Edison Programme is a fantastic opportunity to challenge yourself in an encouraging, harmonious environment, while gaining hands on experience with some of the most advanced engineering challenges in the world today.
The Key elements of the Programme include:
• Two year program including (4) six-month rotational assignments which may involve rotations in; Electronics engineering, R&D, Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Hardware Engineering and Software Engineering
• Formal GE Leadership Training Courses: "Engineering at GE (Eng@GE)" and "Activating Your Leadership Journey (ALJ)"
• Development of problem-solving and time management skills through Technical Classes, Workshops, Formal Reports and Presentations
• Responsibilities of the program participant may include: Global Energy Connections technical processes, program management, technology development, product design, manufacturing, project implementation, maintenance Fleet, technical support to offers
• Opportunities to meet with, and present to, influential GE Leaders
• Participation in our Global Conference - The Edison Summit in Orlando, Florida - which brings together 500 members of our Community from around the World
• Residential courses to improve your Professional Development Skills, including presentations, collaboration and leadership skills, as well as your business insight
• Volunteering Opportunities: Edisons are the focal point of GE’s culture, and participants are strongly encouraged to lead the way in championing GE’s core values. Edisons are connected to colleagues across the globe, with opportunities to be part of our STEM-based Educational Programmes. You can also develop relationships with the wider GE Community, such as the GE Women’s Network.


Qualifications/Requirements:

This posting is for the August 2017 intake at the GE Energy Connections Power Conversion and Grid Solutions sites in France. Assessment Centres will take place in April at our Villebon site near Paris. If you get through the initial sift, you will be invited to take an online, on-demand, interview. • Être récemment diplômé d’un Bac +4/5 (ou experiencec equivalente) en ingénierie (génie électrique, électrotechnique, électronique de puissance, électromécanique, technique des nouveaux matériaux) avec mention
• Passionné(e) d’ingénierie et de design technologique et totalement engagé(e) dans ces domaines
• Orienté(e) qualité
• Solides compétences en matière d’encadrement, d’analyse, de résolution des problèmes et de communication ; excellentes qualités relationnelles
• Anglais courant
• Permis de travail européen ou autorisation de travail
• Mobilité à l’échelle européenne
• Be a recent graduate of a Bac +4/5
Engineering (electrical engineering, electrical engineering, power electronics, electromechanics,
Materials) with mention, or equivalent experience/knowledge
• Dedication to a career in technology and a real passion for engineering
• Quality oriented
• Strong supervisory, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills; Excellent interpersonal skills
• Fluent English and French
• European work permit
• Mobility at European level



Desired Characteristics:
• Une expérience à l’international serait un atout
• Expérience pertinente acquise dans le cadre d’un stage/apprentissage dans le domaine des entraînements électriques / distribution HT / MT et BT / réseaux / contrôle industriel / machines tournantes électriques
• La maîtrise d’une deuxième langue étrangère serait un atout
Localisations possibles: Nancy, Villebon, Villeurbanne
Additional consideration will be given if you have:
• An accredited Master's Degree or equivalent experience/knowledge
• International experience would be an asset
• Relevant experience acquired during a training / apprenticeship in the field of electrical drives / HT / MV and LV / networks / industrial control
• Fluency in a second foreign language would be an asset
• Programme / Project Management skills working in, and leading, teams
• Commitment to Personal Development and Community Volunteering
