Role Summary: As Staff Analytics Engineer – Developer, Orchestration, you will be responsible for composing architecture tools, stitching software components and automating workflows in a cloud environment to deliver defined services and provide support for analytic products and enterprise grade applications at scale.
An Ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about design and development, learn & adapt to changing technologies, and can work effectively both independently and in a team of developers.
In this role, you will:
Develop automation/orchestration within a cloud environment.
Work with development teams to integrate with external systems to create a fully automated dev-to-production release cycle.
Ensure architectural service designs and improvements are implemented accurately and are supported according to definition and service level agreements.
Work in an Agile Scrum team and support development of analytic software products on an Internet of Things (IOT) platform.
Work closely with multiple stake holders that includes engineers with oil & gas domain expertise to deliver high quality scalable software
Own product or product modules, develop and maintain the same.
Participate in design and code reviews. Come up with ideas for product improvement and communicate the same to the stake holders.
Engage key technical & subject matter experts across the business for knowledge capture into the solution.
Be able to influence from a technical standpoint across the function and business. Ability to influence at the peer level is key.
Optimize and define new processes and tools, to enable large scale enterprise-grade software development.
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math)
5 years of technical experience in large scale web application development.

Knowledge of distributed automation/orchestration architectures.
Experience with automating/integrating to a REST APIs and CLI methods, XMLRPC, SOAP, WEBDAV
Experience with AWS, Azure, Cloud Foundry or cloud native apps
Expertise with managing, deploying, or integrating with OpenStack Software development
Experience in working in Scrum teams and Agile methodology

Proficient in C++, Java, Python Unit Tests, Test Driven Development and Continuous Integration
Exposure to Big Data trends and patterns around building analytics is a plus.
Knowledge about build tools like gulp/grunt, maven etc.
