Role Summary:
As Advanced Application Specialist, Analytics Solutions for GE Healthcare, you will be responsible to bringing innovation to our Healthcare Analytics Solution portfolio. You will be a key asset in a fast-paced, incredibly exciting market, with the opportunity to drive rapid, exponential growth.

Essential Responsibilities:

The Advanced Application Specialist is responsible for the competitiveness of the Analytics solution’s features, functionality, and quality. Provide direction for a product/ offering’s design, focusing on customers’ business and clinical needs. You will work with internal business champions across GEHC, as well as customers to ensure deep understanding of customer; be a contributor for product vision, strategy, roadmap, and tactical choices. You will partner closely with engineering on product requirements and design, evangelize for the product with customers, commercial teams, and other connected GE teams.

Strategy and Technical Development:

  • Create advanced analytics applications leveraging modern analytics technologies to provide streaming, predictive, and prescriptive analytics for Healthcare Analytics software and service solutions.
  • Collaborate with other product teams, marketing, legal and finance to facilitate taking those applications to the market
  • Promote you’re your activities across GE Healthcare business and function stakeholders and to customers.
  • Partner with internal and external domain experts to highlight emerging practice trends and product/content needs of the customer.
  • Work horizontally across engineering, business and regional teams
  • Innovate - Stay knowledgeable about technology trends for analytics in healthcare
  • Align your work with GE Healthcare Analytics go-to-market
  • Work directly with development teams and/or give direction to Product Owners to implement the product requirements.
  • Translates internal and external customers’ requests into a set of Epic and Features. Applies the agile methodology to partner with engineering, and architects to get the development backlog
  • Collect and analyze customer feedback. Prioritize feedback and incorporate into release plan.
    Thought Leadership and Evangelization:
  • Develop and present business cases for product functionality, demonstrating sound judgment based on technical information and business needs.
  • Participate in end-user research together with our User Experience (UX) team to drive a clear target user experience and capabilities for analytics authoring, orchestration and consumption.
  • Evangelize for the product by presenting to customers and users groups; represent the product at trade shows; sell product roadmap internally; participate in winning deals; provide sales training, and generate enthusiasm for the product.
  • Ensure that the voice of the customer is clearly articulated and communicated across all teams and is the primary driver of roadmap and technology decisions
  • Contribute to a team environment that encourages innovation.
    Business Development and Go to Market
  • Actively contribute to growing the Healthcare Analytics Solutions revenue stream
  • Directly support commercial teams selling solutions that are underpinned by Healthcare Insights software and service solutions
  • Drive continuous innovation by assisting applications product teams in regularly releasing smarter application

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Product Management, STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math), healthcare or related field
  • 3 years’ experience in product management, product development, consulting or applied STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) related field including workflow experience with similar products.

    Desired Characteristics:
    1. Experience in Analytics and Cloud technologies like Business Intelligence / machine learning / Streaming Analytics / Deep Learning / Natural Language

  • Expertise in Consulting or Lean Startup methodologies
  • Strong analytical and process skills

  • Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
