Essential Responsibilities:

  • Work with the required expertise and care in line with the relevant rules, policies and instructions given by the direct manager or substitute.
  • Work in line with the GE Spirit & Letter guidelines.
  • Completely execute the tasks given by the direct manager.
  • On-going self-development, participation at additional courses, trainings
  • Lead and manage PDM related activities / subtasks among employees responsible for Product Data in Supply Chain Team and contractors for PDM related projects
  • Design and execute tasks related to projects and everyday routine
  • Create and administrate basic Material Master data
  • Update and administrate parameters based on inputs from the responsible functions
  • Work with cross functional teams to remove roadblocks in the ordering process
  • Provide support for cross-functions in MRP data related issues and questions
  • Provide regular and ad-hoc analytics (range, material data changes, new listings/delistments)
  • Follow up on restructuring projects and assure MRP data integrity for affected items
  • Develop new processes and find opportunities for process improvement and innovation
  • Work closely with IT to implement new SAP processes to make data maintenance easy and more efficient
  • Participate in PDM related SAP tests
  • Drive measurements to improve data quality and processes
  • Have total responsibility for master data creation, administration and accuracy


Qualifications/Requirements:

  • University or college degree - Economics or Logistics/Supply Chain management preferred
  • Fluency in English and Hungarian
  • Strong work experience in multinational environment, preferably Supply Chain
  • Excellent PC skills (MS Office), experience with SAP system
  • Comfortable in working with data, numbers, analytical reports, has strong analytical skills
  • Precise and has attention for data quality
  • Ability to understand working of complex systems
  • Ability to work independently and take responsibility
  • Hard worker, performs well under pressure, has strong organizational and prioritizing skills
  • Open-minded and proactive
  • Good team player
