Role Summary:
The Lead Project Manager will be responsible for overall project execution for control solution systems in GE Oil & Gas / Digital Solutions department.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement projects for GE DCS/DEH/Turbine control from manufacturing to final installation and handover at various customer work sites
• Act as primary customer contact for the duration of each project through execution, resolve specification issues, handles correspondence, provides periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, negotiate/coordinate with Sales staff as appropriate for customer-requested changes (price and delivery), arranges witness tests, coordinates field service activities with appropriate Service Manager
• Manages and reports all financial aspects of the project including budgets, costs, margin, invoicing, and receivable collection
• Develop and maintain project schedule, identify and weight risks to take prioritized actions
• Direct and administer project-related activities to ensure that projects are completed on-time, within internal and external quality/specification requirements
• Facilitate project closeout reporting and meeting
• Provide leadership to the project team
• Manage project precisely in SAP system, and ensure project data in time with accuracy. Provide project report
• Implement continuous improvement through Six Sigma quality, drive organization process optimization to improve quality and efficiency

• Bachelor’s degree (automation or engineering discipline preferred)
• Proven leadership skills in a matrix organization
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational, analytical, and problem solving abilities, able to work under tight schedule and high strength
• Solid understanding of basic financial concepts and measurements
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Strong office software skills
• 30% travel required

Desired Characteristics:
• 5+ years’ project management or service experience in controls / instrumentation
• Customer interface experience
• SAP project management experience
• Project management software experience
