Role Summary: The PC Client Lifecycle Operations Engineer is responsible for day-today support of our asset management and software delivery toolset, responding to businesses requests for information, software distribution, reporting, and more to achieve business outcomes. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and responding to incident tickets to maximize the value of our deployment and inventory software.
In the PC Client Lifecycle Operations Engineer Role, you will be responsible for
Monitoring incident queues and driving resolution per our SLAs
Work with the team to design and build automations to improve our speed of response
Provide timely updates on SW distribution jobs and inventory requests
Partner with businesses and Core Tech Solutions to drive the outcomes required for Software Distribution and Inventory Reporting
Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or Engineering, OR in lieu of degree: HS Diploma/GED and 1+ years of IT experience or equivalent military experience/training.
Minimum 1 year experience with VB Scripting or PowerShell
At least 1 year of experience in Network Troubleshooting
At least 1 year of experience with database technologies including SQL
Greater than 2 years of Powershell Scripter experience including software packaging background
Greater than 3 years experience in OS Knowledge - Windows 7, 8 and 10 OS architecture and PC hardware
Strong technical foundation in the PC, Mobility, Compute, Application technology area including Windows 7, 8, and/or 10
Ability to provided weekly monitoring and remediations as required during SW Deployment weekends
Demonstrated ability to lead projects / tasks / drive through completion report status to Supervisor
Ability to break down complex issues and challenges to deliver recommendations on remediations
Strong oral and written communication skills
Organized and self-motivated with an ability to prioritize and manage demanding workload
Ability to innovate and adapt based on team needs and new technologies
