Role Summary:
• Management, collation and assessment of all RAM (Reliability, Availability, and Maintainability) performance data both from our own monitoring and as received from the operators of our HVDC schemes worldwide
• Coordination of the use this data both for mitigation of our liabilities and to improve the performance of our HVDC schemes in operation and to shape future developments

Essential Responsibilities:
• Lead technical and commercial meetings with authority and professionalism
• Be a role-model as a customer-focused professional engineer
• Manage the collection and recording of all RAM data for each project
• Regularly assess and report on the RAM performance of each project
• Prepare comparisons of our monitoring with that of the customer as needed
• Working with the contract management team, prepare mitigation and counter-claim strategies to defend against any claims or liabilities arising from non-performance
• Maintain regular feedback and reporting on incidents, their cause and mitigations to the engineering teams in support of product and system development
• Comply with established procedures and safe working practices for any site activities
• Support business policies and objectives and industry leading levels of near-miss and other reporting
• Maintain RAM reporting procedures and develop or source any systems/tools needed
• Align where possible with the current CIGRE guidelines for RAM reporting and assessment


• Engineering degree or equivalent
• Relevant industry experience
