Role Summary:
Specialist - SPS who is electrically and mechanically competent to perform all aspects of
the field service functions and duties. Lead technician on location to perform all aspects of
installation, troubleshooting, and repair of all SPS equipment.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Specialist, you will:

  • Inspect, assembly, install and remove all types of ESP and SPS equipment
  • Provide work direction for all SPS personnel on work location
  • Diagnose problems and recommend solutions
  • Comply with all EHS regulations and requirements
  • Specialize in electrical work and installation of all SPS equipment including VSD’s,
    Switchboards, Softstarts, SCADA systems, and remote monitoring
  • Mentor and train new technicians

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED from an accredited school or institution
  • Minimum 3 years of ESP and/or SPS experience

    Eligibility Requirements:

  • Ability and willingness to work overtime, weekends and holidays, as required
  • Ability and willingness to work in a constant pushing, pulling, lifting, stretching, bending and
    other physical activities
  • Ability and willingness to lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
  • Ability and willingness to be subjected to extreme heat and/or cold for extended periods of time
  • To the extent that you are applying for a position that requires you to operate a GE owned /
    leased or rented vehicle for company business, you must be willing to submit to a check of your
    driving record

  • Strong communication skills with good customer rapport
  • Self-motivated and looking towards improving processes
