Role Summary: The Service Manager (China) serves as the key point of contact between the PS region and OSS Asia for all onsite inspection / repair / machining / surface coating demand, for both contractual and transactional customers from Power Generation. This role reports to Region Director – OSS Asia and aligns to General Manager - Global Operations China.
Essential Responsibilities: •Single point of contact for region Key point of contact for ITO/OTR team to review and assign incoming demand to the appropriate segment based on customer need and capacity. Drive demand placement quick turnaround. •Responsible for field execution Responsible to answer ITO/OTR team for all demands in the region. Coordinate on-time execution by working closely with OSS Operation Manager and Optimization Team for any necessary 3rd party or global resources. •Drive OSS region growth Embrace customer focus belief. Develop market for OSS growth. Perform regular customer visits with ITO/OTR team. Collaborate with domain experts for any joint efforts. •Partner closely with ITO/OTR Team Understand customers’ CTQ for outage service requirements and understand ITO/OTR commercial strategies. Provide necessary technical education / training for internal to ensure strong understanding on OSS capabilities. •Support technical proposals Provide strong technical support on OSS services for proposal generation by ITO/OTR Team. Devise winning mobile strategies for profitable outage execution.
Additional responsibilities •Service Manager will have overall responsibilities to oversee the well-being of the OSS China OSS operation team and China OSS growth.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or relevant Degree/Diploma from an accredited college or university • A minimum of 5 – 8 years’ experience in customer service, field service or engineering role or equivalent strategic leadership role • Senior position may be considered, based on relevant experience
