Role Summary: GE Digital is building cutting-edge SaaS & PaaS products for the Industrial Internet and hiring the best software talent in Boston. We currently have a HR Leader & Sr HR People Partner opening at GE’s HQ in Boston, MA supporting various functional teams including Commercial, Digital Technology and Digital Engineering. We are looking for an engaging, interactive, trusted partner to further develop and drive GE Digital’s people and culture strategy for these teams.
HR People Partners own the employee experience by coaching leaders to hire, inspire, develop, and retain the talented employees that create customer success. People Partners work within a collaborative eco-system of HR peers onsite and around the globe ranging from HRBPs, Compensation & Benefits, Workforce Planning, Learning & Development, and Talent Acquisition. Meet regularly & proactively with managers (people leaders) to provide HR guidance on change management, compensation, retention, engagement, talent assessments, and performance management
Continuously diagnose orgs: People Partners optimize org design and ensure GE Digital scales with continued growth
Drive employee development: coach managers to create meaningful, personalized development plans
Advise managers on ER related issues to ensure consistent, transparent application of policies and practices; Own/drive investigations when needed
Engage with employees regularly to become an expert of our people and the way they work
Coach managers to ensure team priorities are laser focused, on-strategy, & drive customer success
Partner/mentor with local HR team and employee engagement teams in creating engaging and fun work environments and overall employee experience
Influence hiring to ensure we continue to hire world-class software employees with cutting-edge capabilities
Benchmark best-in-class HR/ER programs in the tech industry; Bring new ideas to the table that help continuously evolve our organization
Master’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 5 years’ progressive HR experience OR Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field with 7 years’ progressive HR experience

Must be willing to work out of an office located in Boston, MA and regular travel to Providence, RI
Experience in a software/technology company preferred
