Role Summary: GE Oil & Gas is a world leader in advanced technology equipment and services for all segments of the oil and gas industry, from drilling and production, LNG, pipelines and storage to industrial power generation, refining and petrochemicals. GE Oil & Gas also provides pipeline integrity solutions, including inspection and data management, and designs and manufactures wire-line and drilling measurement solutions for the oilfield services segment.
Essential Responsibilities: Human Resources interns may work in any of the following areas: employee relations, recruiting, compensation/benefits, workforce planning, and special projects. These opportunities provide real HR experience supporting GE business groups and prepare student for full time HR positions within GE. Activities may include strategy development support, research, client support, project management and other function specific job duties.
Qualifications/Requirements: Enrolled in a full time matriculated and nationally accredited baccalaureate program Meet required degree majoring in Human resources or Industrial & Labor Relations Minimum 3.0 GPA without rounding Must be available to work June-August Completed one full year of college
