Role Summary: The Manufacturing Test Technician will actively support quality, process and safety improvement initiatives such as LEAN, etc. This is a second shift job, eligible for night-shift bonus.
Essential Responsibilities: As the MFG Test Technician, you will:
Analyze test results and troubleshoot complex problems and report abnormal conditions
Interpret diagrams and specifications for all products and perform prescribed test
Be capable of understanding circuitry involved in all products using and understanding the use of all electrical instruments and measuring devices involving test equipment, and performing troubleshooting and minor repairs to test equipment
Maintain workplace and equipment in clean, safe and orderly condition and follow all safe work procedures
Interface with Manufacturing and Engineering functions
Perform other related duties as assigned
Associates Degree in Electronics or similar field of study
Must be willing and able to lift 40 lbs
Must be willing and able to distinguish colors
Ability and willingness to learn basic PC skills
Experience performing system assembly and test operations.
Able to read schematics
Able to demonstrate efficient use of scopes, meters or logic analyzers
Proficient in analyzing micro-processor circuit boards
Strong problem solving skills
Highly motivated team player and able to work with minimum supervision
Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills
Seeks & offers willingness to help/train whenever possible
Seeks opportunities to grow skills and learn new tasks
