Role Summary:
The project coordinator reports directly to the GE Foundation Executive Director of Education and Skills (ED) and supports members of the ED’s team to accomplish specific goals. Major projects include: GE Brilliant Career Lab Web Site 2.0; GE and Boston Celtics Community Program; Lynn and Fall River Diversity Initiatives.

Essential Responsibilities:
The duties of the project coordinator include, but are not limited to:

• Performs tasks as assigned by ED
• Writes and edits documents and presentations for ED
• Assists in planning the GE Foundation STEM conference in July
• Anticipates the needs of the ED and recommends tools to accommodate those needs
• Conducts research and analysis as required
• Creates and maintains excellent files in order to track and archive all project documents
• Coordinates production and dissemination of materials and publications
• Takes, edits and revises all meeting notes
• Assists ED with various conference call agenda and discuss call developments with the ED

Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Currently working toward a graduate level degree in public affairs, communications, marketing or relevant majors.
  • Minimum one year of experience managing complex projects.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
