About Us: GE announced they signed a definitive agreement to sell the Water & Process Technologies business to SUEZ, a services and solutions company with global operations primarily in water and waste management. The deal will be subject to customary closing conditions such as regulatory review and appropriate consultation and we expect this to be complete by mid-2017. Water & Process Technologies will operate business as usual through this process and will continue to meet its commitments to its valued customers and employees. This includes hiring strong talent to help the business grow and be successful. GE is targeting to complete the sale of the business by mid-2017.

Role Summary: The Global Security Crisis Management Leader is a part of the Water & Process Technologies business level staff focused on global security and crisis management. Success will be assured through building positive, effective working relationships with a wide range of internal and external customers.
Essential Responsibilities: As the Global Security Crisis Management Leader, you will:
Manage the implementation of the Security Crisis Management (SCM) policy and procedures
Develop business-specific SCM processes to meet business security requirements
Manage the execution of security operations for the business
Develop, maintain and oversee a site security leader program for all business sites
Manage the development and implementation of security system design requirements associated with new facilities, construction / modifications / upgrades to existing facilities and assist the respective facility security representative
Establish and maintain liaison with appropriate local, state, federal and international security and law enforcement organizations to ensure the resources are available to respond to and support the business security and crisis management program
Drive Security Awareness Program throughout the business
Coordinate crisis management team during potential or actual crisis management concerns
Create / Utilize an Employee Notification System
Conduct business and site level CM drills / exercises on a yearly basis
Manage CFATS and Department of Homeland Security programs
Bachelor's Degree in law enforcement, criminal justice from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 8 years of experience in federal, state, or local law enforcement or security management in a corporate environment
Able to effectively work in a matrix organization across business and Corporate
Strong leadership skills
Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks and priorities
Initiative and global mindset
Six Sigma Greenbelt certified or equivalent quality certification
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong negotiation / influencing skills
High Energy / Self-Motivated / Change Agent
