Role Summary: In this role you will utilize technical knowledge and marketing experience or expertise to solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others, and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Reporting to the Sr Marketing Staff Manager - Product Marketing you will :
Understand the environment of assigned products including market size, competitive data, price dynamic, distribution channel and promotion
Develop and implement innovative go-to-market plans for increased and new market penetration, including selecting target markets, recommending new products, establishing plans for product promotion, and recommending strategic actions to grow GE's presence in the segments or products
Ensure the routine gathering and reporting of competitive intelligence and action, as it is required to differentiate GE in the market place
Regularly analyze commercial terms of existing products and provide recommendations
Build and maintain solid relationships with global stakeholders
Drive alignment across product management, marketing and sales through the use of efficient processes for bringing new and existing products to market
Provide the global sales and marketing teams with product line sales enablement tools
Responsible for capturing emerging trends and facilitating / developing corresponding strategies that translate insights into opportunities and result in competitive advantages that increase sales
Utilize Voice of Customer (VOC) to develop customer - centric messaging and value propositions for business execution
Develop and execute strategies that drive opportunities and ultimately increase product line revenues
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Lighting industry or Electrical / Electronics industry
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Chemistry from an accredited university or college
Master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) or Marketing from an accredited university or college
Ability to work in cross - functional and cross - cultural teams
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Demonstrated skills in managing multiple projects successfully
Outstanding presentation skills and analytical ability
