As an ETIP for the Passport20 and HF120 controls and performance team, you will be responsible of supporting the productivity tools development and will be active part of the analytics initiative of the team. You will be using the agile methodology to design and implement the strategy and infrastructure to get the team to a web services environment for all the productivity tools. Furthermore, you will be responsible of maintaining the tools initiative in the team.
Understand the Team products and deliverables.
Take over the current tool development and continue with the maintenance of those tools.
Participate in the design of the Tools initiative for the Passport and HF120 team, including the new technologies and infrastructure
Coordinate the tools initiative in the team and follow up with the team.
Present the initiative progress and results to upper management.
Use the Agile methodology to design and develop the productivity tools and the analytics.
Propose new tools to develop that will help the team
Participate in the analytics strategy for the Regional Engine Services Team.
Learn and understand the controls and performance disciplines.
Computer Science or similar career student.
Excellent programming skills in Java or Python.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Assimilate data and act decisively, but in a collaborative manner.
Work in a distributed/multi-site environment and under a matrixed responsibility organization.
Provide a professional interface to both internal and external customers.
Strong Web Services orientation (REST, SOAP, etc)
Strong knowledge in Persistent Data (JPA) and databases.
Fluent in English language.
