Role Summary:
The Lead Reporting Accountant in Global Operations – Finance is responsible for the monthly general ledger close, balance sheet and income statement analysis and presentation. The role is responsible for leading financial reviews and building partnerships with GE Businesses.

Essential Responsibilities:
 Lead monthly and quarterly closing process of the assigned entities
 Responsible for preparation and submission of monthly/quarterly management reports
 Review account reconciliation for the assigned entities
 Responsible for analyzing monthly Trial balance and reporting on variances as required
 Reviewing General Ledger to ensure completeness and accuracy
 Communicate and explain accounting issues and evolving accounting guidance to the management
 Participate in preparing annual audit and quarterly review activities with external auditors & stat team
 Provide FP&A team with financial analysis and/or comments as required
 Preparation and submission of quarterly and ad-hoc reporting and analysis
 Provide accounting expertise to assist other areas in understanding financial information
 Participate in regional projects as required

 A Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Finance and Accounting)
 Minimum of 7 years related accounting experience
 Very Good knowledge of US GAAP
 Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
 Excellent command of English
 Excellent communication & interpersonal abilities
 Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and documentation
 Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials/SAP
 Experience in closing and Reporting
 Ability to work and succeed within tight deadlines and closing peaks
 Self-motivation and discipline
 Good time management skills
 The ability to work independently with minimum supervision, a self-starter
 Ability to influence without authority and work collaboratively in a team
 Proactive & Eager to learn more within and outside your area of expertise
