Role Summary: As Executive for Digital Twin you'll own P&L and strategy for product portfolio in this high-profile, high-potential business segment. You'll build and mentor a team of high performance Product Managers to define and execute strategy, establish and achieve ambitious outcomes.
Essential Responsibilities: As our new Executive for Digital Twin you will be responsible for managing a team of Product Managers chartered with driving the business and product strategy for a set of platform services that enable the building of virtual representations of physical assets. This includes such platform services as data services, analytics, asset services and asset models, and concepts like the digital workbench.
In this role, you will:
Drive P&L of a business segment with large product or portfolio of products/solutions with revenue influence / target in the range of $20M+ USD per year.
You'll function as General Manager to form and lead an emerging product incubation team for the start-up a new business product line. Your team will define the business plan, create the product roadmap, identify and develop eco-system partnerships, test product concepts with customers, develop product bundles and define the commercial offering.
Have strong financial responsibility and accountability.
Be a strategist/expert across product management functions and knowledgeable in technical domain related to the portfolio.
Hire & manage team of product managers who are business and technical experts.
Work cross-functionally with sales, internal/external customers, analysts, marketing, engineering and senior management teams to formulate and execute the strategy.
Be responsible for P&L (with targets for revenue, cost & contribution margin) and vision & strategy for the business segment. You will make sound investment decisions based on market opportunities, market trend, risks, competitive landscape and strategic partnerships.
Collaborate with GE's Head of Product and Engineering teams to ensure consistent execution of product plans that result in product delivery on time, on budget
Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to ensure go-to-market strategies, plans and activities are aligned with the company's business drivers
Have dotted line / cross functional management of other leaders across functional teams will be common to realize the vision and strategy.
Will engage customers at CxO/executive to present vision/strategy, understand the needs/trend, influence the customer decisions and build trust & relationship
