Role Summary: The Sales Application Specialist, Acute Care (LCS) is responsible for providing the formal technical and clinical support during the sales process. Responsibilities may include providing the required pre-sale product demonstrations as well as post-sale installation, training and customer service activities to support sales objectives for their geography.
The Sales Application Specialist LCS is responsible for:
Use market and product knowledge to assist sales team in developing sales, marketing, and customer service strategies
Providing technical and clinical leadership during sales process by demonstrating full range of product features including potential uses, product capabilities, and benefits to customers as needed
Developing, coordinating, and delivering product trainings to customers on software, application, and/or equipment use
Monitoring customer installations within assigned region to improve customer satisfaction and maintain customer relationships
Supporting trade shows and professional conferences by performing product demonstration and promotion as well as customer training
Producing well-written post-training reports and providing regular feedbacks on a customer satisfaction and needs
Build long term strategic alliance with portfolio of accounts to continue to add value, and promote Service offerings to identify and escalate commercial service needs to drive customer NPS
Required active clinical certification/registries required to scan live patients in a clinical setting
At least one of the following core experiences: Previous clinical experience following certification with demonstrated skill in specific required areas or previous commercial applications experience with demonstrated successes in high level customer interactions and sales scenarios
Proficiency in computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite products
Willingness to travel 50% within your specified geographic region with occasional overnight stays depending on geography and business needs as well as to nationwide sales meetings and tradeshows
Demonstrated successful experience interfacing with both internal team members and external customers as a part of a solution-based sales process
Ability to communicate effectively using local language
Strong presentation skills
Demonstrated ability to understand and present complex material in understandable terms
Demonstrated interpersonal & communication skills
Solid problem solving skills (ability to manage and resolve conflict, communicate issues and propose solutions to both team members and external customers)
Self-motivated, willingness to take the initiative to identify opportunities for improvement and take actions to improve
