Lead project team, including partners, through contract reviews to identify & manage risks, monitor financial and operational performance against the agreed timescales, and initiates corrective action where appropriate
The Leader Project Management UTTM leads a team of Project Managers driving wing to wing project execution activities. In this role you will be responsible to ensure complex orders are executed on time per contractual term and within budget. You will also be responsible for identifying project delays, implementing root cause analysis and driving continuous improvement of the business project management processes.
Primary customer contact. Resolve specification and commercial issues, manage correspondence, provide periodic updates, ensure customer satisfaction, and negotiate/ coordinate with staff as appropriate.
Responsible for the financial performance of a portfolio of projects.
Responsible for on-time delivery in accordance with contract
Responsible for project risk issues including receivables, claims, contract changes, margin enhancement, and effective project closeout.
Drive organizational effectiveness in order to achieve business goals and the development of employees.
Provides full scope of leadership for direct report(s), including performance evaluation, annual assessment, salary planning, and employee development.
Creates an environment which enables the attraction of new, qualified talent to the organization.
Ensure load balancing and allocation of PM suitable resources within allocated team
Work as Senior Project Manager in defined very complex high risk projects
Drive Team Culture: Culture of Customer Experience, Culture of Performance, Culture of Compliance and Culture of Predictability
Support the operations initiatives driving standardization, control and visibility
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or equivalent from an accredited university or college.
Significant experience in project management in complex project environment, with project portfolio management
Strong negotiations skills and experience
Proven leadership skills and ability to effectively manage a matrix team / organization, experience in a management role
Understanding of business and project financials
Master's degree in Business Administration or Engineering is preferred.
Significant Project, Construction, Field Engineering and/or Contract Management experience in power industry.
High energy level - self-starter.
Technical knowledge of product lines and associated systems.
Ability to anticipate events and develop adaptive strategies / remedies.
Exceptional oral and written communication skills

Strong business and financial acumen
Strong team leadership and team building skills
Ability to drive and manage change in a dynamic environment.
