Role Summary: GE is building multi-disciplinary operations teams to focus on delivery of IAM services consumed by all GE businesses. These teams are composed of highly talented individuals obsessively focused on secure availability and performance. The ideal individual is relentlessly technical, passionate for automating everything and totally committed to delivering amazing experiences. This role is responsible for operational delivery of Identity and Access Management technologies.
Define the operating structure, processes, procedures, and talent profiles required to build a world class team delivering exceptional availability for Single-Sign On, Active Directory, Virtual and other Directory Services
Manage and develop geographically diverse team of employee and consulting resources
Manage performance and availability, while adhering to compliance and regulatory requirements
Develop automated solutions, infrastructure-as-code, to address potential problems before they result in a service interruption
Build customer obsessed culture that focuses on customer success as its primary goal
Partner with the engineering organization to design for security, reliability and operational excellence across a technical suite of tools and resources
Manage performance, coach individuals, and resource team appropriately to deliver on objectives in fast paced environment
Establish and enable a proactive, outcome-oriented delivery model based on accountability and partnership where ‘not my job’ is not an answer
Provide leadership and hands-on technical direction to deliver problem, solution, tactical, and break-fix capability
Available 24x7 to lead critical issue/problem resolution to complex problems where analysis requires in-depth evaluation with imaginative and innovative troubleshooting and experimentation
Responsible for driving operational excellence of suppliers across service engagements
Drive successful business outcomes beyond the immediate incident or need
Investigate and develop new best practices and methodologies
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Management, similar STEM degree, or equivalent practical experience
Minimum 5 years experience managing IT operations
Minimum 3 years experience successfully managing technical teams
Minimum 2 years experience automating scalable infrastructure operations

Hands-on, technical experience in identity & access management services and delivering these services on a large scale
Demonstrated experience with CA SiteMinder, SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect, AJAX, Java, JSP, HTML, J2EE, SOAP, XML, Ping solutions, Virtual Directories
