Role Summary:
Responsible for developing and driving the master production schedule and slot plan for the Consolidated product line. Leads cross-functional leadership in communicating business goals/programs/processes to the site. Has the experience and expertise to solve problems. This role can affect both short-term and long-term business goals.

Essential Responsibilities:
In the role of Master Scheduler Consolidated, you will:

  • Create monthly and quarterly business estimates for sales, overdues, and on-time delivery, taking into account the material and labor constraints of the factory
  • Develop and execute a slot plan to align quoted lead-times with shop capacity
  • Lead in master data management such as product lead times, make vs buy decisions, product hierarchy and master routings
  • Ensure Schedule and Promise dates reflect an achievable schedule for all orders prior to handoff with production control
  • Determine the allowable design time for orders to meet customer want dates
  • Drive long-lead component identification and on-time ordering
  • Validate sales quotes and ensure customer orders meet clean order guidelines
  • Collaborate with sourcing, procurement, manufacturing engineering, and commercial operations to improve lead time and schedule accuracy
  • Ensure appropriate engineering and commercial change management processes are followed

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’ s Degree in Engineering or Business from an accredited college or university (OR High School Diploma / GED from an accredited school or institution and minimum 7 years of MRP experience and process discipline in a manufacturing and/or material environment)
  • Minimum 3 years of MRP experience and process discipline in a manufacturing and/or materials environment

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Materials / Scheduling
  • Minimum 2 years of SAP experience
  • Minimum 2 years of shop operations experience
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
  • Strong change management skills
  • Strong influencing and negotiation skills
  • Working knowledge of MRP systems and Microsoft suite of applications
  • SAP experience
  • APICS CPIM
  • Six Sigma Green Belt / Black Belt certified
