Essential Responsibilities:
Position may include assignments in the Machine Toolroom, Advanced Inspection, Production, Development, and/or Manufacturing Support business environments with job tasks that may include:

  • Performing complicated machine set-ups and operation of equipment such as lathes, vertical and horizontal milling machines, jig mills, precision grinding machines, electrical discharge machines, inspection measuring equipment, other standard machine tools, etc., both conventional and numerically controlled
  • Establishing the set-up, operation and job completion accuracy by reading and interpreting mechanical blueprints, sketches, engineering specifications, drawings, etc.; performing advanced mathematical calculations using algebra, geometry and trigonometry; determining speeds and feeds of cutting tools/equipment; and using precision gauges/equipment
  • Inspecting and calibrating complex precision measuring tools, gauges and equipment ensuring accuracy and conformance to masters, blueprints, drawings, etc
  • Providing environmental, health, safety, maintenance, quality, and/or production flow job duties
  • Maintaining detailed job task documentation and records


Qualifications/Requirements:

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :


  • High School Diploma/GED Required
    Hooksett, NH Plant is a 3 Shift Operation
  • Must be able to work any shift
    Successful candidate must commit to obtaining and retaining certifications and/or licenses as required by position assignment
    Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in a technical-related field from an accredited university or college with a minimum of 2-years of applied advanced manufacturing, engineering, fabrication and/or complex inspection related experience;
  • OR
    High school diploma/GED with a minimum of 3-years of experience in advanced manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and /or complex inspection disciplines;
  • OR
    Technical Certificate from an accredited educational institution with a minimum of 3-years of experience in advanced manufacturing, engineering, fabrication, and/or complex inspection disciplines


Desired Characteristics:
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the set-up and operation of a multitude of precision machine tools
  • Demonstrated proficiency in the set-up and operation of precision inspection gauges, measuring tools and instruments.
  • Working knowledge of quality-related procedures and systems, i.e., material review, routing sheets, hold tickets, shipping documents, etc
  • Experience in performing advanced mathematical calculations
  • Demonstrated proficiency in reading and interpretation of mechanical blueprints, engineering specifications and drawings.
  • Demonstrated use of oral and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency in computer applications such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and/or web-based
  • Experience in Lean Six Sigma fundamentals
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining relationships by recognizing needs and sensitivities of others, and cooperating and resolving conflicts that inspire the Team in achieving objectives and deliverables
  • Demonstrated ability in receiving guidance and supervision, following work rules, safety practices, work procedures; meeting deadlines; and punctuality and attendance standards
