Role Summary:
The PM Application Engineer is responsible for technical support of the OTR (order to remittance) process for the life of the project. The PMAE will lead design changes, generate technical documentation and work directly with customers to gather requirements, and be the technical liaison between them and the manufacturing plants, 3rd. party vendors, project managers and commercial teams. This position reports to the Lean Project Manager for North LA


Essential Responsibilities:
  • Act as the Product Owner within for the life of the project
  • Meet with Customers to research technical needs
  • Interpret customer, business, product specifications and drawings as they apply
  • Prepare User Requirements and translates requirements for Engineering and Manufacturing
  • Prepare and submit drawing package
  • Solve technical problems at customer side
  • Execute Drawings modifications
  • Provides domain expertise during the acceptance testing process
  • Overall In-depth technical support to PM team and customer


Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited college or university
  • 3+ years’ experience in product management, product development, implementations and/or related field
  • Proficient English Speaker
  • Clear Communication Skills
  • Sense of urgency in dealing with issues and tasks / Demonstrates ability to problem solve
  • Analytical / Clear Thinker
  • Willingness to travel 10-30% of the time
  • Ability to work effectively within a matrix environment
  • Team oriented – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, cross-functional teams
