Role Summary:
The incumbent is required to establish and maintain customer relationships and provides sales
leadership in order to achieve and exceed orders and margin objectives; integrate and develop
processes, manage complex issues within functional area of expertise, be involved in long term
planning that meets business needs across the organization and contribute to the business

Essential Responsibilities:

•Owns sales operating plan for Software Solutions products such as energy management system,
distribution management system and geospatial information system in Japan.
•Provide sales inputs to Sales Director and operationally work with team to meet quarterly targets
•Set the sales strategy to grow the software business and execute the action plans by gettingaligned with the team.
•Establish and maintain customer relationship inclusive of management level and build
•Provide sales leadership to co-ordinate, support and motivate distributors in meeting yearly sales
target. Review and support distributor's key initiatives to increase channels effectiveness.
•Manage the existing distributor's performance and create the new partner when it increases the
channels effectiveness.
•Conduct product training and application support to system integrators, consultants and end
•Develop strategic plans to pursue key deals. Identify both internal and customer requirements.
Proactively educates and influence customer business decisions using practical solutions to drive
•Supervise all stages of proposal, bidding and negotiation; then lead team to close deals.
•Team with others in sales and engineers in leveraging customer relationship and leads.
•Understand market dynamics, trends and competition. Provide feedback in order to guide
product, promotions, price and go-to market strategies.

•5+ year experience in sales or marketing with successful track record.
•Strong knowledge in software for utilities, industrial and telecommunications applications.
•Good communication skills including strong written & oral English and local language skills
•Understands Smart Grid concepts and has an ability to confidently discuss them.
•Demonstrated ability to work under time and resource pressure.
•Strong interpersonal skills with an emphasis on building strong team relationships
•Excellent communication and presentation skills.
•Customer orientated. Growth mindset.
•Proactive work style, creativity, energetic, self-motivator who keeps current with industry trends
and knowledge.
•Excellent negotiating and closing skills.
•Unyielding commitment to integrity and GE values.
