Role Summary:
The preferred candidate will demonstrate leadership in communicating business goals, lead programs and drive processes for the Distribution & Logistics area. In this role, you will utilize your expertise and experience to solve problems. You will develop and execute goals & objectives and realize these short-term and long-term.

Essential Responsibilities:
The Distribution and Logistics Manager will:
  • Supervise through 3rd party logistic provider (3PL) all outsourced warehouse operations;
  • Interface with the 3PL to fix issues, identify improvement areas and productivity action plans;
  • Ensure smooth and safe transition to meet criteria from Customer’s point of view;
  • Define, scope and select projects that will positively impact Logistics Cost and Customer satisfaction for all fields of Logistics activities;
  • Create Fulfillment F5 reports for his region in order to monitor warehouse performance and optimize the forward stocking locations;
  • Conduct regular project reviews with project leaders and champions to assure accomplishment of key results;
  • Communicate progress, status, and issues to champions, cross-functional teams, customer service, operation and business leaders;
  • Deliver breakthrough levels of Logistic Process and Cost improvements;
  • Define, set up and manage min/max stock level at Forward Stocking Locations FSL) and Customer Site Inventory (CSI).
  • Handle 3PL relations to assure appropriate level of service for our customer’s needs;
  • Interface with local services team;
  • Local item activation and phase out management;
  • Manage OSP process for local repair;
  • Supervise wall-to-wall count at FSL and CSI;

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College;
    • Significant experience in logistics preferably spare parts;
    • Some experience in a leadership or project leadership roles, with strong and direct Customer focus and regular contact;
    • Demonstrated oral and written English and Italian communication skills;
    • Willingness and ability to travel 20% of the time.
    • EU work permit

      • Ability to lead and direct multi-functional teams;
      • Ability to work in high stress situations;
      • Strong negotiation skills;
      • Strong planning / program management skills with forecasting capabilities;
      • Ability to organize and prioritize work and to meet deadlines;
      • Ability to handle multiple simultaneous projects;
      • Spanish language.
