Essential Responsibilities: * Lead Mechanical design Engineer for Low voltage components, such as MCB, MCCB, ACB and etc . * Develop mechanical drawing/design based on product specifications and document correctly. Able to use software to do simulation in the area of electromagnetism, motion, mechanical strength, thermal and etc. * Support all aspects of system engineering including competitive analysis, Quality Function Deployment (QFD's), Design For Six Sigma (DFSS) and reliability scorecards, engineering test procedures (ETP's), technical specifications, functional block diagrams (FBD), FMEA's, testing, and problem solving. * Support the program team to determine product costs, product performance, quality, reliability, serviceability and etc. * Support/Lead required program review / T-reviews.
Qualifications/Requirements: * BS or plus in Mechanical Engineering, at least 7 years product design experience. * Good understanding of sheet metal parts and plastic parts. Experience of link mechanism design is preferred. Experience of low-voltage products, such as ACB, ATS, MCCB is preferred. * Skilled in using ProE/Creo, AutoCAD, ANSYS software. * Significant experience in design and/or development, test experience and knowledge. Demonstrated ability in analysis, testing, and problem solving. * Rich experience working with cross-functional team and supplier. * Multinational company especially electrical/electronics industry is a plus. * Good communication skill and English capability. * Background of 6 sigma and NPI process is preferred. * Frequent business trip required.
