Role Summary: The Market Development Senior Manager will lead the global market development activity for GE Digital Channels & Alliances in a specific global region – e.g. APAC, Africa, China, Europe, etc. This leader will be the first and leading point of contact for each new partner. Each role will focus on one region
The Market Development Senior Manager will support the global market development activity for GE Digital Ecosystem & Channels across regions – e.g., Americas, MENAT, China, Europe, Japan, India etc. This individual will lead the identification, recruitment and onboarding of key regional strategic partners.
The Market Development Senior Manager will work closely with GE Global Growth Organization (GGO), local business units, GE Digital commercial team, GE Digital Ecosystem & Channels colleagues to establish Predix as the IIoT Operating System in strategic industries and geographies in a way that builds a large, long-term and continually-growing subscription base.
Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college.
At least 6-8 years of professional experience in business creation or product/service/solution innovation
Fluent (written & oral) in a second language – Japanese is preferred
GE Leadership Program Graduates will get credit towards relevant work experience, commensurate to the program they have completed
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. GE may agree to sponsor an individual for an employment visa now or in the future if there is a shortage of individuals with particular skills
Must be willing to travel up to 60% abroad
Must be willing to work out of an office located in San Ramon, CA
Top tier strategy consulting firm: e.g. McKinsey, BCG, or Bain
Ability to perform financial analysis and preparing business development plans
Understanding GE products and services
Team player with the ability to work in a cross-functional environment
Strong analytical skills coupled with a solid finance background
Multiple-language proficiency desired
Understanding of global markets
Strong oral and written and communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills. Strategy or management consulting background desired. Sales a plus.
MBA Degree from an accredited university or college.
International work experience
Must be excellent in communicating and developing powerpoint presentations at an executive level
Ability to perform financial analysis and preparing Market Development plans.
Software/ tech industry experience
Management consulting or sales/channels experience
