Role Summary:
The Sales Manager is expected to build very strong customer relationships in order to drive
double-digit profitable growth for the upgrade, modernization and repairs business along all product lines of the Power Services
portfolio at our own fleet as well oOEM fleet. This job requires some travel across the Gulf and
may include additional sales responsibilities for specific accounts.

Essential Responsibilities:
- Develop customer relationship at all levels in customer organization to become the focal point for
any potential sales related to upgrade, modernization and repairs business
- Develop strong working relationship with country managers to efficiently cooperate for
upgrade, modernization and repairs opportunities in line with account strategy
- Manage opportunity pipeline pacing with region sales leadership
- Be the region contact for commitments and orders, pacing for the upgrade, modernization and
repairs business
- Develop along with the regional team, the competitive intelligence related to all upgrade,
modernization and repairs offerings
- Be commercially sophisticated and up sell existing opportunities...Work side by side with the
country managers and be able to provide the appropriate technical support
- Drive short, medium and long term strategy for the upgrade, modernization and repairs business
in the region, including but
not limited to gas turbines, steam turbines and generators
- Partner with the shop manager and the operations team to ensure timely deal closures.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Demonstrated Commercial management skills
- Excellent verbal & written communication skills
- Customer relationships in the Gulf region
- Technical experience of heavy duty rotating equipment maintenance & repairs
- Willingness to travel
- Commercial/contract negotiations in the Energy industry
- Has the imagination and courage to solve issues and develop opportunities across the PGS
portfolio
- Listens to customers
- identify customer needs
- develop solutions to solve customer problems with measurable customer values
- Proactive and self-motivator
- Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs
- Proven capability in industry related sales, application engineering and/or marketing•
- High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (Salesforce, Excel, PowerPoint,
etc)

Desired Characteristics:
- 5+ years of commercial/sales experience
- Extensive knowledge of power generation equipment
- 5+ years of experience in gas turbines, steam turbine, generator, or balance of plant
- Spoken Arabic (Preferred)
- Intimate knowledge of standard ES commercial operations operating procedures and
expectations
- Negotiating skills and contract terms and condition, with a proven track record of timely deal
closures
- Demonstrated passion & understanding of GE Beliefs
- Green Belt Certified
