Role Summary:
As member of regional leadership team, provide leadership and strategic direction to the Offshore Wind organization in China with full accountability for achieving growth objectives across the region, and contribute to the Renewable Energy business in the region. Demonstrates accountability for functional, business, and broad company objectives. Integrates and develops processes that meet business needs across the organization. Involved in long-term planning.

Essential Responsibilities:
This role contributes to the overall strategy and manages complex issues within functional areas area of expertise:
Will own and drive regional financial results from orders through to contribution margin
C-Level suite access and credibility...metric: C-Level acceptance and NPS scores
GE team leader on deals...Offshore, EFS, Grid, etc ...metric: profitable deals for all GE enterprises handled in a seamless way with our customers
China growth strategist...plans, government policy, customer development...metric: tangible competitive positioning plans to make us #1 in China share with YOY sales growth.
Operational mindset...metric: plans to use local labor and material at right cost to best position GE
Develop and own Offshore strategy for China, to include local in-country product strategy to reduce cost and drive adjacency
Drive aggressive growth targets in all segments of the region: metric targets will address volume, price/margin, and cash collection
Responsible for developing and utilizing analytical reporting techniques in operating rhythm.
Lead and develop assigned commercial and operating teams and leaders in the region
Build customer relationships for the purpose of Business development and Sales
Develop customer strategies, campaign plans, and leadership in their execution
Integrate information, resources, and activities within the region
Customer satisfaction evaluation, plans, and follow through- be responsible for NPS for ITO process
Demonstrate commercial and technical expertise in specific market
Own regional input for SI/SII planning and forecasting for the Offshore Wind market in China
Developing the regional strategy to attract, retain and develop talent and build succession plans across the region
Working at senior level both internally and externally, leveraging leadership, influence skills and expertise to ensure the right decisions are made. Specifying critical resource needs required to meet business objectives.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college
Minimum of 8+ years of operational experience, especially in business analysis and forecasting
Extensive and proven leadership experience in successfully leading a P&L unit
At least 5 additional years of experience in industry-related sales, application engineering and/or marketing
At least 5 years experience leading a sales team
Effectively interface with all levels of internal stakeholders and external customers

Desired Characteristics:
Prior experience developing and leading teams in China … particularly in Services
Prior product management experience to include leadership of new product introductions/promotions
Bachelor's of Science in Engineering is preferred
Master's in Business Administration is preferred
Commercial sales experience in closing large and complex contractual agreements
Proven project management skills
Excellent interpersonal skills, able to lead a diverse team within a matrix organization globally
Customer-focused mindset with proven ability to respond quickly to customer needs
Proven coordination and influencing skills, especially with HQ teams
Knowledge of customer financial drivers/needs
Able to effectively lead and energize a multi-functional team to meet sales plan
Offshore / Onshore Wind experience an advantage
High proficiency in utilizing analytical software and sales tools (CMS, Excel, etc.)
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Self-motivated
Location in region of responsibility preferred
