Role Summary: The corporate communications intern will support the day-to-day operations of the team in Japan and will work on various projects including public relations, digital, marketing communications, events and internal communications. This role will give the intern a glimpse into what it’s like to work inside a corporation to promote the brand and would be a perfect fit for students who are interested in developing a career in the marketing and communications field.
Essential Responsibilities: The corporate communications intern’s responsibilities will include: Support content development for GE Japan’s owned media; GE,con/jp, GE Reports Japan and several channels on social media Cultivate basic skills of content marketing; creating contents, appropriate targeting and digital ads placing Translation of GE’s global marketing communication contents Support event planning and execution Special project – to be determined with the manager based on both individual interest and business needs at the time
Qualifications/Requirements: Qualifications/Requirements Enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program Excellent verbal, reading and writing skills in Japanese and English Quick learner and passion for growing Strong interpersonal skills with positive energy Strong team player Self-starter Strong sense of responsibility and ownership
Compensation: 1,000 JPY per hour and transportation cost included Dates, Days, Time: Monday - Friday (9:00 – 17:30); Two days per week Duration: Minimum three months (flexibility around term exams) Location: Akasaka Park Building, 5-2-20 Akasaka, Minato-ku Tokyo, 107-6114 (Nearest Station: Akasaka Station, Tokyo Metro)
