Role Summary:
GE Additive. is seeking a uniquely driven and talented individual to serve as a Training Engineer for all Concept Laser platforms currently offered: Mlab, M1, M2, and XLine 1000/2000R. While the primary responsibilities will be customer training, the candidate should also expect to have cross-over responsibilities in the Applications and Benchmark departments.

Essential Responsibilities:
  • Serve as Training Engineer for all Concept Laser machine platforms, software, and quality modules
  • Effectively communicate with both Field Service Engineers and Senior Sales representatives on customer requirements
  • Travel to customer sites in throughout the western hemisphere: United States, Canada, Mexico and possibly South America
  • Work within a cross-disciplinary team of individuals dedicated to meeting customer driven deadlines while providing the best possible training and support

    Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Mechatronics
  • Minimum of 4 years of engineering experience in a deadline driven, customer focused environment

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENT:
  • Ability and willingness to travel up to 35% of the time.

    Desired Characteristics:
  • Proficient in CAD (any platform), as well as Microsoft Office Suite
  • Skilled in customer interactions, data presentation, and public speaking environments
  • Must be able to effectively manage a project from start to finish
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to be a team player
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong problem solving skills
