Role Summary:
Lead FA operations team to perform fixed assets accounting and closing activities; Develop & maintain operational controls per Fixed Assets Enterprise standard and GE GAP; Establishing strong communication & partnership with businesses; Drive productivity via process simplification & automation and organization optimization

Essential Responsibilities:
As a FA Team Leader, the incumbent will be responsible to:
- Ensure that the fixed assets accounting (monthly, quarterly, annually) is compliant to GE GAP & Statutory accounting requirement; meeting businesses closing schedule and quality of account reconciliation
- Implement strong operational & controllership excellence & rigor in the fixed assets processes
- Identify opportunities to drive process and operations excellence via standardization, simplification and automation
- Support FA Global initiatives such as metrics development, unit cost productivity, quality reviews, organization optimization and FA IT tool deployment
- Partner with the migration team to manage migration of new ledgers, ensuring that the tollgate review processes are well executed by the operation team (SOP, data health check, FTE finalization etc) and signed off by the businesses in a timely manner
- Manage the BPO resources to perform as per metrics established
- Establish partnering relationship with business leaders and support business initiatives as required
- Manage the team activities, provide frequent feedback and coaching for performance and GE values, develop expertise and culture of service excellence and focus on team members’ career growth
- Ad-hoc projects to support and lead the team



Qualifications/Requirements:
- University degree in finance or accounting
- 6-8 years working experience in Accounting/Auditing/Controllership
- Sound knowledge in US GAAP
- Strong controllership mindset
- Proven people management experience in a matrixed organization
- Experience of working in a global business environment with sound understanding of process and controls
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks, projects & deliveries
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
