Role Summary:
In this role you will:

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Sets up, operates, edits, and programs a variety of computerized machines, such as Furnaces (Dewax, Preheat, and / or Vacuum), Lasers, Robots, Coherent
  • General (8-Axis), Presses and / or Benders to customers’ specifications and drawing requirements
  • Modifies existing program parameters (temperature controls, clamp pressure, etc.) on machines to produce error-free products
  • Tests new tooling and/or dies and makes recommendations for modifications
  • Assures internal calibration, outside calibration services and internal reports are performed accurately and in a timely manner
  • Performs regular preventative maintenance
  • Operates machine(s) in a prescribed safe manner
  • Will train and work with all areas of the Cell to run other processes as needed

    Qualifications/Requirements:

  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Minimum of 6 months manufacturing experience operating computerized machine

    ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :


  • While the position is on 2nd or 3rd shift, candidate must be able to train a minimum of 60 days on 1st shift
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed
  • Willingness and ability to pass vision test, required
  • Willingness and ability to pass vision test, required
  • Willingness and ability to exert 10 pounds of force frequently, as required
  • Willingness and ability to occasionally exert 20 to 50 pounds of force (with assistance, if needed)

    Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints
  • Education or experience in programming and / or operations of programmable controllers
  • Ability to use standards shop measuring devices (calipers and micrometers)
  • Excellent attendance and punctuality history
  • Makes decisions based on experience and available data
  • Produces error free products
  • Accurately completes paperwork
  • Strives to meet or exceed job requirements
  • Accepts and gives constructive instructions
  • Ability to work under general direction with minimal supervision.
  • Available to work scheduled hours
