Role Summary: Are you passionate about developing a long term career in Human Resources? We're looking for individuals with 3 years working experience in a Human Resources function to accelerate your career path. Over the 2 years, you will have the opportunity to broaden your knowledge of the HR function through 3 challenging assignments in different functions, which will allow you to expand your critical problem-solving skills and professional network.

Program Structure: • 2-year rotational program offering 3 challenging 8-month assignments • Hands-on HR experience with opportunity for a cross-functional rotation • Leadership, HR and business focused training • Extensive contact with peers and senior business leaders • Expansion of your knowledge base, critical problem-solving skills and professional network • Four global seminars (2 outside of the US) • Cross-business projects HRLP Assignments. • 1. Provide HR project support for all planned process migration cross Asia region which including GE and Alstom. (Halen, Tax CoE, etc) for GE Global Operation Asia center • 2. To closely work with HRBP GO Asia, Asia Process owners (FA, Finance & HR Ops, SCM, etc.) and global ITM project leader to initiate actions to build SWP upon the assessment results to enhance organization capability and employee development plan. • 3. To connect with other GO Asia EHRM and HRBPs to draw the ideal talent profile to guide talent recruitment to improve attrition upon the ITM implementation. • 4. Work with all process owners and EHRMs to drive full implementation of planned actions against Culture compass results with timely updates to employees to ensure real impact.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Masters in Business Administration or Master's Degree in business or a human resources discipline (e.g. industrial & labour relations, industrial & organizational psychology, organizational behaviour, etc.) • 3 years of HR related work experience • Legal authorization to work in China • Geographically mobile
Desired Characteristics: • Masters in Business Administration or Master's Degree with a focus/emphasis in human resources. • At least 3 years of prior work experience in a HR related role. • Demonstrated leadership skills. • Passion for a long term career within human resources • Able to effectively work with and manage global teams • Ability to understand business strategy and organizations • Display a high level of self confidence • Willing to take initiative and be a change agent • Possess strong analytical skills • Ability to energize teams and create an engaging work environment, inclusiveness • Possess expertise within the HR function and experience managing a team through different business cycles • External focus, ability to consider the external impact of business activities and decisions on customers, market/industry, investors, media, government and communities • Strong ability to establish trust with clients, peers and managers • Ability to use sound judgment in making business decisions • Willing to take risks • Ability to generate new ideas and simplify strategy into specific actions • Other desired characteristics include: well-developed written and oral communication skills, business acumen, possess integrity, able to deal effectively with stressful situations.
