Role Summary: Management and coordination of litigation & dispute resolution matters at GEHC & provide leadership within the GEHC legal team on litigation matters. Create & implement litigation strategy. Stay current & advise on litigation law; regulatory changes & implications to pending litigation. Manage cases of varying complexity. Brief Litigation GC and executive. Ensure that issues raised by litigation and investigation activities are evaluated by the appropriate specialists.
Manage litigation and conduct investigations of GE Healthcare and appropriately represent the business in cases in courts, before arbitrators and in investigations;
Partner with and advise global GEHC legal teams to lead legal policy initiatives and to improve management of litigation and reduce associated risk;
Utilize alternative dispute resolution and preventative lawyering to help reduce the number and cost of lawsuits for GEHC;
Coordinate, lead and implement improvements in litigation and legal policy and management.

Bachelor's Degree and Juris Doctor (J.D.) with 8+ years of complex litigation and trial experience
Demonstrated government or similar experience in conducting investigations. Experience may have been gained in appropriate litigation experience with firms, corporate law departments, government agencies, or other suitable background.
Litigation Experience in Life Sciences and/or Pharmaceutical industry, including litigation with the Government and/or mass tort experience in the Life Sciences field.
Experience with laws specifically impacting healthcare industry to include False Claims Act, Anti-kickback statute, Food Drug and Cosmetic Act and their foreign counterparts.
Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and the ability to quickly identify and prioritize issues and devise solutions.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a global environment.
Experience providing legal advice in a highly regulated environment.
Direct experience in making disclosures to and negotiating with relevant Government and regulatory agencies.
Strong legal analysis skills and judgment.
Technical expertise in all aspects of commercial law, experience as a trial litigator.
