Role Summary: Opportunity to influence the strategy, growth and commercial activity of one of GE Healthcare’s most dynamic and profitable businesses – US & Canada Services. This role is responsible for leading a team of field, analytical and portfolio marketers that will deliver marketing programs to bring awareness to GEHC Services market differentiation and innovation – inclusive of the Digital Services strategy.
Essential Responsibilities: -Executive level leadership, mentoring and development of a team of marketers -Lead all commercial activity for the US & Canada Region on Service offerings portfolio strategies -Development of marketing programs that promote the growth of Services in the region. Activities included, but not limited to, advertising strategies, web/social media, sales tool development, direct mail campaigns, telemarketing campaigns and the like. -Leads the formal development of intellectual capital and thought leadership that is relevant and compelling to clients and creates a strategy to logically introduce it to the external market (clients and media) for maximum impact. -Owns the Services offering portfolio and all associated commercialization activity. This includes managing activity such as market research, competitive analysis, client deliverable development and all commercialization strategies. -Work closely with all Services Marketing Managers in region to harmonize on strategies and programs that cut across Solution practices. -Support other Regions in their marketing strategies and development.
Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration * 10+ years of relevant work experience in marketing, product management and/or business development * Deep marketing expertise in market and customer insights, solutions development and commercialization * Demonstrated success in managing marketing teams and coaching individuals * Demonstrated success in planning, organization & prioritization skills, with the ability to manage several projects concurrently. Successful budget management. Proven process and problem solving skills. * Ability to work with marketing, service, operations, product management, sales and communications professionals in related business units and balance diverse points of view and priorities; able to interface effectively at all levels. * Excellent written & verbal communication skills and the ability to communicate messages clearly * Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, Power Point, Excel, Outlook required
Desired Characteristics: * MBA/MHA * Six Sigma/Lean training and/or certification * Strong grasp of the underlying fundamentals that drive the health industry; demonstrated in depth knowledge of the healthcare industry in general * Demonstrated success marketing Services in technology, consulting, professional services or similar * Experience leading/influencing senior level teams with focus on growth initiatives, strategic market analysis, expert marketing programs and/or healthcare industry management * Proven inclusive leadership experience with demonstrated external market focus, the ability to clearly assess and handle situations, and imaginative problem solving skills * Energetic, enthusiastic self-starter requiring limited supervision, able to take initiative & follow-up on assigned projects
