Role Summary: You will be working on multiple projects as a project leader or internal consultant. You will work on projects for components of the domain.
Essential Responsibilities: • Participate in the domain technical and business discussions relative to future architect direction. • Assist in the analysis, design and development of a roadmap and implementation based upon a current vs. future state in a cohesive architecture viewpoint. • Gather and analyze data and develop architectural requirements at project level. • Participate in the EA (Enterprise Architecture) governance model. • Support the development software and data delivery platforms that are service-oriented with reusable components that can be orchestrated together into different methods for different businesses. • Research and evaluate emerging technology, industry and market trends to assist in project development and/or operational support activities.
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or in “STEM” Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) (or equivalent knowledge/experience) • Strong professional experience in SAP (including 1-2 full cycle deployments) • Must be willing to travel 25%-30%
Desired Characteristics: • Strong experience with SAP Finance & Controlling with background in delivery, deployment and change management • Deep understanding and working knowledge of SAP deployment cutovers spanning diverse teams and integrated systems • Experience with a large transformational effort is desired. Proven experience in leading global teams and working effectively in a matrix organization model • Strong communication skills, ability to develop partnership with cross functional teams and develop an inclusive & collaborative environment • Experience working with remote/global teams and ability to travel as needed to ensure success of the projects • Practical exposure to, and experienced in, IT Service Management with process oriented perspective • Experience with driving Agile delivery execution leveraging DevOps principles across a global team • Strong ability to guide and influence a highly matrixed and cross-functional team • Ability to manage and drive change across the organization. Be able to motivate the team and drive clear accountability & responsibility within the team. • Excellent negotiating and influencing skills at all levels of the organization. • Knowledge of ITIL is a benefit • SAP certification in Finance & Controlling is a benefit • Understands technical and business discussions relative to future architecture direction aligning with business goals. • Understands concepts of setting and driving architecture direction. • Familiar with elements of gathering architecture requirements. • Understands architecture standards concepts to apply to project work. • Extensive experience running large scale SAP rollouts in mid to large size enterprises • Strong hands on experience in SAP delivery methodologies including ASAP • Ability to understand end to end solutions extending beyond SAP modules • Strong business and systems acumen with clear thinking abilities to drive desired outcomes • Excellent project management skills with tools like MS Project, Smartsheet etc. • Expertise in data conversion tools like BackOffice, LSMWs etc. • Knowledge of Sap processes in Finance & Controlling as well in the customizing activities. • Knowledge of Sabrix and customizing of the tool.
