Role Summary:
The Zone Contract Leader is responsible for using business and legal judgment to structure, draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements including transactional customer sales contracts, contract amendments, purchase and sale agreements with strategic and key customers and group purchase organizations, and consulting agreements as well as responding to customer request for proposals (RFPs).

Essential Responsibilities:
• Drafting, reviewing/editing, and negotiating strategic and transactional customer agreements such as (but not limited to): customer sales contracts, amendments, contract renewals and expansions, and customer requests for proposal
• Reviewing and approving higher risk terms per existing Delegation of Authority
• Managing contract clause libraries and contract databases
• Advising sales and business teams on agreement structure and alternatives
• Managing the contract approval process to meet/exceed business cycle time requirements
• Leading lean and process improvement efforts to support achievement of business objectives

Qualifications/Requirements:
1. Paralegal certification with 3 to 5 years of experience or contract administrator with +5 years of experience
2. Demonstrated experience prioritizing conflicting demands from multiple business clients in an extremely fast paced environment
3. Ability to communicate using English and outstanding interpersonal skills

Desired Characteristics:
1. JD degree
2. Prior experience with contract drafting and negotiation and customer/client interaction and relationships
2. Experience of the Healthcare industry and previous exposure to medical industry regulations (FDA, Medicare/Medicaid anti-kickback)
