Role Summary:
This role will be at the forefront of developing analytics to support GE Healthcare Service Business. Responsible for Healthcare industry big data processing, modeling and algorithm development to drive insight of operational efficiency, maintenance cost, services and asset optimization. Converge the analytics with technology by partnering with the Technology and IT organizations to deliver value add customer solutions.

Essential Responsibilities:
• Provide technical leadership and expertise for big data analytics and solution design.
• Lead engagement with internal customers and across functional teams to identify and develop data analytics for target problem/opportunity.
• Work with Business Leaders to understand analytics/services requirements & vision.
• Have an ability to work with process experts and data engineers to build data science models using mathematical, Advanced Statistics and physics based packages on the leading edge big data platforms like Hadoop, Greenplum, Redshift, etc.
• Proven track record of creating a modeling platforms using big data programming languages like R, Python or scripting using SQL on variety of platforms.
• Hands-on experience writing code, data engineering, data cleansing utilities to derive value out of data to put descriptive, predictive and prescriptive analytics using AI or Machine learning algorithms.
• Ensure proper definition of data needs, evaluation of data quality, and recommend appropriate statistical analysis; for critical projects.
• Work on core data aggregation, validation and algorithms development and implement them using technology chosen.
• Utilizing available reporting platforms (SpotFire, OBIEE, SQL databases, etc.) to manage relevant data, create graphical and visual interpretations of the data, and turn them into reports and dashboards reflecting key performance indicators.
• Optimize current data process flow, create reusable data process module for frequent usage and process, and improve data process efficiency and stability.
• Drive increased efficiency across the teams, eliminating duplication, leveraging analytics and technology.
• Drive world-class quality in the data analytics/science and support of customers, products and services.
• Communicate effectively both within immediate team as well as across leadership team.
• Ensure team receives consistent messages and has clear understanding of business direction, strategy and results.
• Engage subject matter experts in successful transfer of complex domain knowledge.
• Proactively share information across the team, to the right audience with the appropriate level of detail and timeliness.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Bachelor’s Degree in a “STEM” major (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics)
• Minimum 1 year analytics development in a commercial setting
• Demonstrated skill in the use of one or more analytic software tools or languages (e.g., Java, SAS, SPSS, R, Python).
• Demonstrated skill at data cleansing, data quality assessment, and using analytics for data assessment.
• Demonstrated skill in the use of applied analytics, descriptive statistics, and predictive analytics on industrial data sets
• Minimum 4 years of IT experience; with two years’ experience in a business intelligence developer role being the most recent one.
• Extensive SQL programming skills.
• Expertise on MS Excel platform.
• Data warehouse management experience.
• Experience in creation of reports in OBIEE, SpotFire, etc.
• Self-starter and demonstrated ability to work across multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proven Java, HTML, web application development skills.
• Desktop Java applications experience.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
• You must be willing to submit to a background investigation, including for example, verification of your past employment, criminal history and educational background
• Willingness to take a drug test
