Role Summary: You will be responsible to manage, lead and develop the SQR team across regions in handling non-conformities with suppliers. The SQR team works in close cooperation with our Supplier Quality Assurance team, Plants and Sourcing department to prevent nonconforming products reaching LM production facilities and also to ensure the implementation of strategy that is defined to improve the quality maturity of suppliers.
You will work within the following areas:
Lead, Manage and Develop the team of SQRs who are located in five different regions
Close non-conformities in line with yearly objectives
Achievement of supplier quality objectives
Facilitate continuous improvement of tool & processes to manage supplier quality
Secure development of SQR team
Ensure Supplier Audits are planned and executed
Assist in training programs as a trainer with a primary focus on Supplier Quality
Coordination with plant quality and other stakeholders Work in a global team You will work closely with both internal and external stakeholders, such as Supplier Quality Assurance team, Engineering, Production sites, Sourcing and naturally the suppliers.
We expect that you have a background involving a Bachelor in Engineering or Science.
In total you have strong experience, preferably significant experience in manufacturing and significant experience in supplier quality – preferably within the composites or aero industry.
You have certification as lead auditor in ISO/TS Quality Management Systvem.
You know about PDCA, SPC, 8D, Poke Yoke and FMEA methodologies.
Six Sigma Certification (green belt or black belt) is an added advantage. As a person, you are result driven, with both analytical and numerical skills, willing to manage team from remote location. You are persistent, and have a robust personality and at the same time you are open and easy to communicate with. You are an organized, meticulous, self-driven person, and are able to work and complete tasks independently and deliver results. You have experience working with international stakeholders. You are able to speak and write English fluently.
