Role Summary: The Senior International Tax Counsel, GE Digital, will report to the Global Head of Tax of GE Digital and will support the business’s global competitiveness by minimizing its global tax cost and risk, while complying fully and with the highest integrity with the laws around the world.
Essential Responsibilities: As our new Senior International Tax Counsel, you will:
Provide leadership to a team responsible for advising the GE Digital Global Head of Tax, the wider tax team and senior management on all aspects of international tax planning for the business which will include Subpart F, M&A, Foreign Tax Credits, IP migration, FX and Treasury related matters, commercial deal support, tax controversies, government advocacy and general tax advice.
Partner with GE Corporate Tax colleagues for planning support and for Digital aspects of Corporate initiatives.
Partner with Digital and Corporate tax operations teams regarding tax provisions and tax return filings.
JD with a minimum of 12 years work experience in the field of international tax, at least 6 of which were with a major U.S. law or accounting firm
Experience in the technology industry
