Role Summary:

This position is responsible for coaching and mentoring the national Centricity Perinatal sales team to sell the GEHC Digital software solutions products and solutions into net new large, complex, high visibility, strategic, or tactically important hospital accounts. This role will also have direct deal ownership for working with large multi-PSS National Accounts.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Indirectly lead the 11 Centricity Perinatal Product Sales Specialists (PSSs) who report to the National Sales Manager for Perinatal and High Acuity Care.
  • Partner with the Centricity Perinatal Leadership team to ensure that new revenue and retention revenue targets are met and exceeded by the business on quarterly and annual basis.
  • Lead sales strategy development and deal ownership for our large strategic opportunities.
  • Coach and mentor PSS resources to meet business goals.
  • Work with Sales Leadership to drive sales and orders growth and ensure all department goals and objectives are met
  • Support of the sales process including the GE Healthcare IT sales process.
  • Support and provide critical feedback to the Centricity Perinatal Product team in the GE business planning process, Growth Playbook, and GE employee development process, Session C.
  • Coach and mentor PSSs in their holistic territory plans and sales process from cold call to close to achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume, achieve account penetration and complete territory coverage
  • Develop and implement an annual business plan supporting attainment of quota and market share growth, and update on a monthly or quarterly basis
  • Maintain identified business to support a balanced sales funnel and accurate profile of customer assets
  • Achieve annual operating plan by prioritizing selling time to generate sales volume across new business, achieving account penetration and completing territory coverage
  • Develop and maintain a high level of product knowledge of IT, GE Healthcare and competitive products
  • Develop quota attainment business plan and/or account penetration strategies for key target accounts and provide management with a quarterly report of progress
  • Develop and maintain consultative sales relationships with all key-buying influences in each account, including multiple levels within the customer's organization including Labor and Delivery Units, department administrators, physicians, and the C suite to include CNO and CIO.
  • Maintain complete knowledge of each account's current and long-term purchase plans and objectives, keeping management informed of all changes in plans, objectives and key buying influences
  • Consistently deliver solutions that are highly valued by the customer and GE Healthcare and are considered high impact, complex and strategic

    Qualifications/Requirements:

    Basic Qualifications


    • Bachelor’s Degree OR High School Diploma/GED AND 10+ years consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation and 6+ years indirect or direct management experience.
    • Minimum 4 years of consultative sales experience including strategic selling and negotiation
    • Minimum 2 years of indirect or direct management experience

    Eligibility Requirements


    • Willingness and ability to travel nationally.

  • In-depth knowledge of and experience in the Centricity Healthcare Digital market, specifically with the relevant products and customers in the market segments listed above
  • Must have deep domain experience in the OB/MIC product segment
  • Knowledge of GEHC HCD software solutions
