Role Summary:
The Core Account Leader drives leadership to meet Global Cell Culture business objectives through close interaction with identified core accounts & management of critical business activities and projects with them. This position is responsible for managing opportunities for growth & Market share gain. This position interacts with cross-functional teams to create a global strategy including product positioning, & identifies programs needed to enhance customer loyalty at designated core accounts

Essential Responsibilities:
• Engage the product management team to accurately position our products and capabilities, and provide commercial oversight and justification for core account projects.
• Identify teams and tactics necessary to meet our core accounts' objectives, taking the lead and managing the multi-functional team as necessary
• Develop initiatives focused on meeting revenue growth expectation and portfolio expansion within core accounts (Ie, expand our presence at an accelerated growth rate)
• Performing clinical and industry trend analysis, market share and competitive analysis and win/loss tracking to identify product/service and commercial strategies for growth.
• Collecting and prioritizing product/service introduction and improvement recommendations and identifying budget for detailed analysis of competitive landscape, an quantifying and prioritizing market opportunity.
• Orchestrating research to assess market and customer environments and to discover unmet needs, buying cycles and personas. Identifying customers’ clinical and economic needs, values and desired benefits.
• Building a global market requirements document that prioritizes customer segments and business opportunities.
• Identifying and assess market and distribution risks, and developing a plan to mitigate those risks.
• Working with Service Management, product management, R&D and Global Design to provide input to the product/solutions development roadmap and to develop, test and prototype new solutions and ideas.
• Performing installed base analysis in order to define programs needed to improve customer loyalty, share of wallet and retention.
•Collaborating with Product/service Management to include these programs on product/solutions roadmaps for core accounts.
• Developing inputs to support business case for NSI (incl. target pricing)
• Participating in professional societies and advocacy groups to identify and select KOL’s for thought leadership and awareness building. Supporting development of regional KOL’s in collaboration with Regional Service Marketing.
• Providing input to global product plan including value proposition and target pricing
•Developing Programs that improve the customer experience
•Ensuring Regional marketing plans are aligned with regional core account site needs
•Develop Initiatives focused on making revenue growth expectations and portfolio expansions within core accounts (ie, expand our presence at an accelerated growth rate)
•Express technical product expertise, provide product and capabilities information, business positioning and support to core accounts and/or Key Account Managers.

Quality Specific Goals:
1. Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
2. Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
3. Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
4. Responsible for ensuring legal and regulatory approval of all marketing communications prior to external release

Qualifications/Requirements:
•Bachelors Degree in Business, Biology or related field
• Minimum of 10 Years Experience in product or project management, with proven experience in managing, growing and implementing all aspects of product management over entire product life cycle
•Leadership skills to lead teams and shape/lead growth vision and marketing strategy
•Excellent Oral and Written Communication Skills
•Strong analytical and process skills
•Ability to travel (Up to 40% of time)

Desired Characteristics:
1. Masters or Doctorates degree in Business, Biology or related field
2. Expierence in Cell Culture Research and/or Bioprocessing industry with knowledge of upstream Cell Culture processes
3. Deep marketing expertise in market & customer insights, product commercialization and branding
4. Healthcare product/industry acumen
5. Experience managing a global brand
6. Innovation – develop new ideas through collaboration and execute on creative ideas
7. Team orientation – ability to motivate and work well with diverse, global and cross-functional teams
8. Influencing skills – ability to motivate individuals and demonstrate organizational influence
9. Service Marketing Experience
