Role Summary:
As an engineer in GE repair shop, coordinate with team member including shop inside and overseas and support them with technical knowledge for high quality repair with safety in a shorter period.

Essential Responsibilities:
GE製発電用ガスタービンの補修を行うための技術図書(修理手順書、補修方法指示書等)の作成。技術アドバイス及び技術評価。GE Power Repair CoEへの窓口となり、機械加工・溶射などの新しいGE修理技術の認証を取るための技術提案及び試験実施。コスト目標と納期を見据えた補修業務の進捗管理。LEAN Six Sigmaの観点からの、修理工程の継続的な改善活動のリード。社内の採用などその他アサイメント。また、一個人として、社内の様々な組織と連携し、楽しく、効率よく、失敗を恐れずチャレンジして学び、結果を出すこと。

-Prepare, develop, and generate all engineering documentation including, but not limited to engineering planning, method specification, process specification, repair instruction and drawing.
-Provide technical advice and engineering evaluation.
-Assist in future plans and contriving new product / services introduction (NPI)-Act as liaison with Repair Technology CoE (GE Power HQ) to develop and implement new repair processes.
-Prepare and perform operator qualification and special process (welding, machining etc..) qualification, including Repair Process Plan, Engineering documentation & operator training.
-Drive continuous process improvement through LEAN - Six Sigma.
-Accept other assignment based on company requirement
-As an individual, co-work with other teams and organization within GE, learn from your failure and deliver results efficiently with fun.


-Bachelor Degree of Engineering (or expecting)
- Ability to read/write English (TOEIC 700pts or above)
-2 to 3 years of relevant experience in engineering
-Strong knowledge of gas turbine component, repair process (Welding, Spraying, Heat Treat, NDT etc..), Kaizen experience is preferred.

Willingness to learn leading-edge engineering. Ability to create positive change in a team environment. Strong problem solving and decision making skills without direct supervision. Strong measuring, testing, troubleshooting and error analyzing skills.
Strong oral and written communication skills. Person who wish to earn project lead skills irrespective of age or gender by putting yourself into global business environment.
*This position provides you to learn leading-edge engineering of gas turbine, to learn problem solving skills and to experience global communication. The Engineering Manager or other positions in the repair shop are the future career opportunities.
