Role Summary: The Senior Commercial Proposal Manager is responsible for developing and preparing commercial proposals, contract terms and conditions review and negotiation, risk assessment, managing reviews with subject matter experts and delivering proposals in a timely manner to meet customer expectation and delivery company objectives.
Essential Responsibilities: • Responsible to review customer RFQs, prepare a list of actions to meet RFQ requirements, liaise with subject matter experts, risk review and assimilate this information to prepare a commercial proposal. • Responsible for all aspects of contract/RFQ review, including proposal development, risk management and mitigation, specification compliance, scope development, transactional pricing, customer negotiations, customer communications and issue resolution. • Lead the transactional deal process having the ability to structure creative, commercially and technically sound quality deals as well as fully manage associated contractual issues that arise over the life of the project. • Schedule deal reviews with relevant approvers process to ensure that all technical risk points, risk mitigation, and business risk acceptance levels are properly incorporated in the development of the scope, cost and proposal wording. • Review customer RFQ terms and conditions and develop, specific Terms and Conditions for standard Customer proposals based on Risk / Reward Analysis. • Ensure timely and comprehensive hand-over of won projects to the Order to Remission teams • Work as part of the Region Commercial team to deliver the assigned objectives • Support the business to maintain the highest levels of compliance and integrity
Qualifications/Requirements: • Bachelor's or higher degree in Commerce or Engineering from an accredited university • Knowledge and experience of O&G industry from concept phase to delivered production • Product knowledge on offshore and subsea production. • Strong analytical, teamwork, communication and presentation skills • Strong oral and written communication skills in English • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills • Technical background and ability to analyze and process complex information
