Role Summary: The Regional Key Account Leader - The Americas is a strategic growth role within the North America Industrial Solution business.
Essential Responsibilities: The Regional Key Account Leader North America & Canada, you will:
Intensify and expand co-operation on opportunities to profitably grow GE Industrial Solutions and to maximize the use of Low and Medium Voltage Equipment, components and Services at assigned strategic customer accounts (ie. GE O&G, GE Power Conversion, Trane / Ingersoll Rand…)
Identify with OEM's sourcing and engineering teams IS product based solutions for specific existing and new applications
Work with Technology, Application Engineering and IS BU teams to develop and qualify the right solution for the identified applications until full product qualification
Work with Product Management and Technology to identify required NPIs and build Basis of Interest’s with ownership for the OEM business sales commitment within the ROI
Co-operate with OEM businesses Com Ops and Sales team to supply Equipment for eBOP projects to maximize Energy Management offering across IS, PC and DE to EPCs and end-users
Work with Product Management and Supply chain to define required localization programs
Identify with OEM businesses Sourcing, Engineering and Com Ops teams the right solution to better support them (application engineers, join R process, etc.) and optimize co-operation
Own OEM businesses revenue, cost and margin across the region
Promote GE values and integrity
Develop, maintain & execute high-impact account growth plans (in SalesForce.com)
Create and execute OEM agreements that provide competitive advantage for IS
Build opportunity pipeline and maintain up to date status reporting (in SalesForce.com)
Coordinate the development of winning proposals that are complete, accurate, compelling and delivered on-time
Take steps to ensure 100% compliance with IS clean-order procedures
Provide monthly progress reports to senior leaders
Achieve quarterly and annual operating plan (budgets) for Orders, Convertible Orders, Margins, and Cash
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university in Electrical Engineering
Minimum of 10 years of Commercial / Engineering experience in the following segments: Industrial, Energy, Infrastructure
Fluency in English
Demonstrated leadership abilities and strong communication / energizing skills
High energy team player with multi-cultural skills, able to influence effectively in a decentralized, cross functional matrix and global environment
Management and commercial skills to drive growth
